Cakes, Paintings and Delicate Lingerie......

This week, the children and I are being home birds as we try and potty train Nathaniel (I really do not want two people in nappies). He is doing very well and only having accidents when he is tired or distracted (to be expected, as we are only on day three).

Today he also made cakes with his sister;

They were very very yummy and we shared them with some small swirls after lunch;

Then we did some painting;

Lots and lots of painting;

Nathaniel started with the yellow paint and told us he was painting a princess and then he demanded the green be passed and then told us it was a fimble. We were very impressed!!

Then my friend Claire came over to deliver a book she bought for me at a car boot sale;

It is full of wonderful tips and ideas and I'm sure I'll be sharing with you from it when things come in useful or tickle me!

And, for when I am no longer huge and pregnant, I can make myself some delicate lingerie;

Or maybe not!!

I'm so glad Nathanial is being potty trained.. I was listening to Woman's Hour podcast last week and was horrified to hear children are now going to school still wearing nappies..aged 5-7!The arguement from parents is they don't have time..to train them,, what a terrible state of affairs..

I love that first photo... a princess and her little brother making cakes! As for making your own lingerie...I'm speechless!
