My Amazing Girl

I am refering to the bigger one but they are both amazing (and beautiful);

Tonight we have been to the presentaion event where Elizabeth was given the book she has been published in by poet Terry Caffery. It was held in a very posh new local venue, so posh it needed new toe nail polish for all and as I am limited wardrobe wise (due to huge girth) Francesca finished my simple black dress off by digging out my wedding shoes;

Admittedly they did look better when I got married as my feet weren't so swollen!!

Very impressed with Elizabeth's poem, we hadn't read it as it was submitted by her teacher at school;

There were more than 1000 entries and only forty made the book so we are very proud parents indeed, big grins all round!!
Here she is with her book, tired but happy;

It was lovely to see so many other bright, well behaved, lovely children but I must say that our three were definately the nicest :-)

You don't know swollen feet really. I wish mine were like yours! I am just wondering how you got down to paint the toenails.
You must be SO proud and rightly so.Of course your children were the nicest!

OOhhh! Well done! I know about the swolleness - I had it bad with Samuel so my sympathies! Strangely it goes soon after the child appears!!
